A private tour of the Collings Foundation’s aviation museum and vintage automobile collection comprised of more than seventy American-built automobiles from the first half of the twentieth century up to the 1995 Lola/Ford XB- Michael Andretti's race winning car at Indy.
The Collings Foundation museum contains the only restored and flyable WWII B-24 Bomber left in the world. This aircraft is not at Stow, but there are many interesting smaller aircraft in the hangar.
More information about the collection can be found at: www.collingsfoundation.org
This is a private collection and is not open to the public. There is a $5 per person admission charge. After the tour we will drive to a local winery for a tour, wine tasting and a picnic lunch.
Wine, Cheese, & crackers will be for sale at the winery or pack your own picnic lunch to eat on the picnic tables that are available.
More information about the winery can be found at: www.nashobawinery.com
After lunch, we’ll stop at an old fashion General Store for a bit of shopping and then a drive to an ice cream stand for refreshments. It should be an interesting and fun event.
RSVP to Bob or Sheila by 6/23 with the number attending. CB’s tuned to Ch. 10.
